Our season opens with two youthful compositions. Described by Alfred Brendel as "one of the greatest wonders of the world", Mozart wrote this concerto at the age of 21; Britten was 3 years younger when he penned his remarkable Sinfonietta. To follow, Sibelius's moving miniature, and the complexity and high spirits of Haydn in his prime.
