This programme is a real international feast, from one of the majestic ‘London’ Symphonies of Haydn, to Copland’s iconic ballet score - a portrayal of American pioneers which includes the tune ‘Simple Gifts’. We also offer a rare treat - the infectious, sensual tango rhythms of Argentinian composer Ástor Piazzolla.
